Every calculator is free forever, so technically you can use ProJobCalc indefinitely without paying. The 14-day free trial is on the Pro tier — unlocks the AI proposal generator, voice estimator, unlimited saves, branded PDFs.

Free tier — no card. Pro and Agency — yes, a card at signup. Stripe Checkout collects it so the trial → paid transition is seamless. Nothing is charged until day 14, and we never auto-charge during a trial without surfacing the date and amount up front. Cancel from your dashboard before day 14 and the card isn't touched.

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard in one click — no phone calls, no retention scripts. Paid access continues through the end of your current billing period, then reverts to Free. Your saved estimates and clients stay.

Not currently. We may add one later based on demand — the $19/mo flat is intended to be transparent enough that an annual gotcha shouldn't matter. If you'd specifically pay annually for a discount, let us know.

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Stripe handles the card — we never see or store card numbers. Subscriptions are month-to-month unless we add annual later.

5 saved estimates at a time + no AI proposal generator + no voice estimator + no branded PDFs. The calculators themselves are unlimited and ungated. Most contractors stay on free for the first 1-2 weeks, then upgrade when the proposal-writing pain hits.

They stay in your account — readable forever. You just can't save NEW estimates past the 5-estimate free limit until you re-upgrade. Nothing gets deleted on downgrade.

No. The 5-estimate limit is on SAVED estimates (the ones you intentionally store with a client + project type). Running the HVAC calculator and noting the number on paper doesn't count.

Enter the project type, scope, timeline, and client details. The AI writes a complete, professional proposal — introduction, scope breakdown, timeline, terms, closing — in under 30 seconds. You review, edit anything, send.

No. Each proposal is generated fresh from what you input — we don't train models on your data, and we don't pass your past proposals to the AI. The model returns generic-but-on-brand copy that you personalize.

Anthropic Claude (current generation), routed via the Vercel AI Gateway. We use the paid API; Anthropic does not train on data submitted via the paid API by default.

Pro is 'unlimited' proposals for reasonable solo-to-small-team use. Agency includes higher limits for multi-seat operations. We haven't hit a real hard cap on Pro in practice; if a single user starts to look like 100+ proposals a day we'd reach out.

Sage is the voice interface — call from your phone (or use truck mode on the dashboard), narrate the scope of the job as you walk it, and get a structured estimate back. Designed for hands-busy field work where typing isn't an option.

Not yet — English-only at the moment. Spanish is on the roadmap. If you'd specifically use it, email us so we know to prioritize.

The structured estimate is saved with your other estimates. The raw audio is discarded after transcription unless you explicitly save the transcript (Pro setting).

Agency ($49/mo) includes up to 5 team seats. Owners invite teammates by email — they get a magic-link sign-in. Each seat has a role (admin / estimator / viewer) that gates what they can edit. Brand profile is owner-scoped so every estimate goes out under one consistent brand.

Yes. Agency PDFs ship with your logo, colors, and business info — no 'Powered by ProJobCalc' anywhere. Pro PDFs are branded with your company info but carry a discreet footer.

Yes — CSV exports from every dashboard table. JSON exports of your full account on request. Your data, your terms.

No. Never. We have no data-broker relationships, no advertising attribution, no behavioral tracking outside of aggregate marketing-page analytics.

Email mitch@mitchreise.com to request deletion. We hard-delete your row plus cascading data within 7 days. Stripe records of past transactions are retained per US tax law.

Not a native app yet. The web app is mobile-responsive and you can add it to your iPhone home screen as a PWA. Native iOS + Android wrapping is on the roadmap if there's demand.

Not yet. CSV export covers most accountant handoff scenarios. Direct QuickBooks Online sync is on the roadmap.
